Punch killed in latest attempt

FREEPORT – A who survived an attempt on his life in 2019, was killed in a shooting tonight.

Omar “Punch” Penn, 41, was gunned down in front of Island Luck in the East Sunrise area in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

According to police, a lone gunman approached and shot Penn in the head.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are questioning a 21-year-old man of Elizabeth Estates in New Providence in connection to Penn’s murder.

In April 2019, a man opened fire on Penn while he was at the Out Da Sea.

Penn was injured but recovered.

He also escaped death in 2018 when two gunmen opened fire on Penn as he sat in his car at the International Bazaar.

Once again, Penn escaped with his life.
