Nassau- Police are treating the death of a man found hanging in a stairwell as a suicide.
Officers received a call about the suspected suicide around 11pm on Monday. When they arrived at the home on Victoria Avenue, officers found a man in the stairwell with a cord around his neck.
Investigators are waiting on an autopsy to rule out foul play.
Meanwhile, police in Grand Bahama are investigating the death of a man found hanging from the ceiling of his home on Raleigh Drive on Christmas Day.
The 43-year-old was last seen alive on Christmas Eve.
