NASSAU- A Fox Hill man is in jail accused of being the gunman behind two different shootings that involved six victims.
Jamal Ferguson, 21, who also uses the last name Gibson, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
According to police, the first shooting happened on April 26 when Ferguson allegedly shot up a car that was traveling along Dorsette Street in Fox Hill.
In relation to that incident, he’s accused of possession of a 9mm pistol with the intent to endanger the lives of Dwayne Fox, Myesha Stuart and Malrinique Stuart.
Police were called to another shooting at Armbrister Street in Fox Hill on May 14. Police said that two gunmen opened fire on three men and sent them to hospital.
Gibson is charged with the attempted murders of Rashad Sullivan, Rakemio Lightbourne and Tyrone Newbold.
He’s also accused of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger their lives on the same date.
Ferguson didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges and was denied bail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for August 19.
