NASSAU-The alleged masterminds of a cheque fraud ring that ripped off HR Business Solutions of tens of thousands of dollars have pleaded guilty.

Cousins Tristian Rolle, 33, and Trevado Taylor, 32, surrendered over the weekend after police circulated wanted posters for them.

They were named in court last week as the ringleaders of the gang that ripped off HR Business Solutions over more than $20,000.

Fellow cheque fraudsters Carlos Valdez, 38; Arnell Armbrister, 24; Kendrea Smith, 27; Anavia Thompson, 22; Giselle Capernarus, 30; and Chiquia Rolle, 26, claimed the men recruited them to take part in the scam in 2018. The six self-proclaimed pawns collectively cashed forged cheques, totaling $19,600.

At a court appearance today, Rolle and Taylor admitted to cashing forged HR Business Solutions cheques together valued at $4,700.

Forbes ordered the men to repay by the money by August 30 and placed them on probation for 12 months.

They will spend six months in prison for non-compliance.

Valdez, Armbrister, Smith, Thompson, Capernarus and Rolle were released on the same conditions last week.
