NASSAU- Four Defence Force marines accused of breaking the curfew were granted $500 bail on their own recognisance today.
Police arrested Lamon Johnson, Shavargo Greene, Ashton Darville and Yocomica Bethel on the curfew breach after they were accused of behaving inappropriately at a club on Abaco.
Prosecutors say they broke curfew by being at the Farm Club at 11pm.
While there, prosecutors claim that Johnson pulled his service revolver putting Erica Jobnson and Rahja Russell in fear.
Also, Darville is accused of stealing Ms Johnson’s iPhone XS Max, valued at $1,500 from Eliandra Cooper.
They denied all of the charges at their arraignment before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
She granted Johnson $1,500 bail on the possession of a firearm with intent to put another in fear charges.
And a Supreme Court judge granted Darville $9,900 bail on the stealing from a person charge on the condition he stays away from his alleged victim.
The marines return to court in November for trial.
Wayne Munroe QC and Jomo Campbell represent Greene, Darville and Bethel, while Bjorn Ferguson represents Johnson.
